The Move

The sun was up, the UHaul was picked up (successfully), and the troops descended on the Elmhurst. In the swell of goodwill from our friends and family, we stuffed a UHaul, 3 pick-ups, and 2 sedans with all our worldly possessions and set them forth to Alberta Avenue.

We drove up to find another family already residing on our premises…

…A filming family (hello Wes).

They were shooting a music video.

For a band called The Wet Secrets.

This guy was in charge (he’s pretty cool, or so they say).

They were doing things like hanging curtains outside of windows with binder clips.

Even with the tents and glut of equipment, doesn’t that tall skinny house look like a sweet place?

Also, this weirdo loitered around the whole time.

While the film crew was hard at work, we decided to play outside.

Our dear pal Steve poses for a rare pic with le Fawn.

Hours later, Andrew revisits the empty Elmhurst apartment.

Where Fawn has been cleaning with a bottle of vino (which cleans everything).

Back at the Tall House, the film crew has gone, leaving one notable souvenir.
